With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois M. McGarvey of Waterloo, Iowa, born in Lamont, Iowa, who passed away on October 26, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Avery Flaucher and Mildred Flaucher (Dunblazier); her husband Robert Arthur McGarvey; her daughters, Kathy McGarvey and Debra Lindquist; her grandsons, John Knebel and Travis Rigdon; her sons-in-law, Duane Rigdon, Darrel Stumme, Jean Knebel and John Meyer; and her brother Pete Whitman.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Knebel of Dunkerton, Cheryl Rigdon of Newhall, IA, Connie Stumme of Dunkerton, Denise Meyer of Waterloo, Patricia McMahon (Rob) of Dunkerton, Shelly Rathe (Joel) of Waterloo and Ronald McGarvey (Fran) of Dunkerton; her siblings, Ann Newsom of Dunkerton, David Whitman (Janet) of Blandinsville, IL and Robert Whitman (Kathy) of Florida; and her son-in-law DeVere Lindquist of Dunkerton. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren.
