She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. "Bob" Johnson; her grandchildren, Allison Anderson and Ryan Johnson; her stepson Alan Johnson; and her sons-in-law, Christopher Kafer and Alberto Luis Real.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Kafer, Kathleen Leyen of Waterloo, Teresa Gage (Vern) and Todd Johnson; her stepson Rick Johnson (Leslie); her stepdaughter-in-law Shelly Johnson; and her stepsister Karen Speicher (Duane) of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Locke (1519 W 4th St, Waterloo, IA 50702). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church United (608 W 4th St, Waterloo, IA 50701).
