She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Gjere and Edna Gjere (Young); and her granddaughter Makaela Danielle Geving. She is survived by: her husband Larry Geving of Waterloo; her children, Rick Geving (Theresa) of Overland Park, Randy Geving (Ila) of Lincoln, Rory Geving (Nicol) of Cedar Falls, Holly Postel (Marty) and Heidi Alexander (Ron); and her brothers, Donald Gjere (Betty) of Mabel, Dean Gjere of Cedar Falls and Curtis Gjere (Linda) of Decorah. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; two step grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; nine step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the church or the Alzheimer's Association.
