It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Kay Joy (Waterloo, Iowa), born in Manchester, Iowa, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Voelschow and Dorothy Voelschow (Timmons); her husband Dennis Joy; and her sisters, Mary Neelans and Gert Sherwood.
She is survived by: her daughter Angie Schaffer (Jason) of Waterloo; her stepson Rusty Joy of Portage, Indiana; her granddaughters, Cassidy Joy-Saini (Rustam), Lexie Joy-Cernek (Mitchell), Makayla Jasarevic (Zinhad) and Kaitlynne Vaughn; and her great grandchildren, Zaydrian, Arden, Zanajda and Maren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
