Leona A. Flynn Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2019, at the age of 92, Leona A. Flynn (Waterloo, Iowa), born in Bremer, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis F. Hinrichs and Anna Zabel Hinrichs; her spouse John "Jack" A. Flynn; her siblings, Lucinda Mirs, Julia Reuscher, Howard Hinrichs, Walter Hinrichs and Lavern Hinrichs; and her niece Joyce Brotherton.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Sandy McKiney (Dale) of Waterloo, Mary Naber (LeRoy), Carole Petersen (Doug) of Osceola and Dwight Hinrichs (Sandy) of Tripoli; and her children, John Rees (Brenda) of Cedar Falls and Paul Rees (Lana) of Granger. She is also survived by grandchildren and five honorary great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society and the Allen Hospital Auxiliary.
