She is survived by: her former husband Dennis Dean Joens; her husband Scott Pettit of Waterloo; her children, Scott Joens (Rhonda) of Adel, IA, Keith Joens (Lisa Erickson) of Waterloo, Jessica Johnston (Jeff) of Clive, IA and Rachel Delagardelle (Troy) of Hudson, IA; her siblings, Doug Smith (Candy) of Broomfield, CO, Calvin Smith (Denise) of Dunkerton, Larry Smith (Christine) of Anchorage, AK and Cheryl Wallace of Dunkerton; her brothers-in-law, Wayne Mager of Adel, IA and Alen Nagel of Waterloo; her stepfather Morris Adams; and her sister Rebecca Nagel. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
