He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulysses Stansbery and Anna Rohrick Stansbery; his wife Evelyn Nystel; his daughter Diana Marie Stansbery; and his siblings, Ervin Stansbery, Sylvia Nystel, Edna Maklenburg, Orella Schwickerath and Rose Nystel.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry Stansbery (Rebecca) of Evansdale, Harlan Stansbery (Kathy) of Mt. Airy and Lonnie Stansbery of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Patrick Stansbery, Kimberly Sires (Judd), Megan Stansbery and Katie Stansbery; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Evelyn Stansbery.
