As LaVerne departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though LaVerne may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy LaVerne leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hickman and Leola Hickman (Olh); and his wife Sandra Coen. He is survived by: his children, Shelbi Hickman of Waterloo and Todd Hickman of Macon, Georgia; his grandson Josiah Hickman; and his sister Sherry Hickman. He is also survived by three great-grandsons.
