He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Harris and Arimel Cole Harris; and his siblings, Lille Harris, Florene Dixon and Leon Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Xavier L. Harris of Waterloo, Shannon C. Harris of Houston, Isis S. Harris of Ames and Jyssica N. Harris of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Jontavious, Khaleel, Khalifah, Alimah, Qadir and Mykah; and his sisters, Jessie Filmore of Waterloo, Carolyn Samuels (Carl) of Waterloo and Darlene Austin (Curtis) of Coffeeville Kansas.
