She was predeceased by: her father Thornton Gary Jr.; her daughter Jasmine Mills; her brother Todd Gary; her godmother Essie Johnson; and her sister Rose Johnson.
She is survived by: her mother Annette Rivers (Strong); her former husband Robert Smith; her children, Traymurrus Mills and Kandace Mills of Waterloo; and her grandsons, A'zorion Mills and Keegan Mills. She is also survived by brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, God sisters, and God brothers.
