He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer McAhren and Effie McAhren (McNew); and his siblings, Donald, Wayne, Glen, Arnold, Robert, Lawrence, Herbert, Thelma and Lavonne.

He is survived by: his daughter Linda Lancaster; and his close friend Shirley Kolash. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
