He was predeceased by: his parents, Evertt M. Hopper and Ruth V. Hitchcock Hopper; his wife Gladys Bird; his daughter Margaret Hopper; and his siblings, Mavis Versluis and Roger Hopper.
He is survived by: his children, Everett Hopper (Kristina), Roxann Behan of Waterloo and Nancy Lovley of Broomfield; and his grandchildren, James, Shane Lovley, Emma Hopper, Anthony Hopper, Melissa Peña, Kevin and Kendall Walton. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
