Kathy Sue Acheson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Sue Acheson of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Robert Porter Beard; her husband Rev. Stephen Wayne Acheson of Waterloo, IA; her children, Andrew Stephen of Waterloo, IA, Rachael Lynne of Waterville, OH and Stephanie Elisabeth of Waterloo, IA; her sister Linda Wasnak of Canton, OH; her pets, Pebbles and Artemus; her mother Gladys Irene Beard (Hartong); her grandparents, Myrtle Pansy (Johnson), William Robert Beard, Mary Caroline (Lautzenhiser) and Charles Harrisson Hartong; and her pets, Kitty-Kitty and Blitzen Kitten. She was also cherished by many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Because of her great love and compassion for all animals, but especially cats, the family requests that in lieu of flowers you please send donations in Kathy's name to the Greenbelt Humane Society (319 River St, Iowa Falls, IA 50126), a no-kill shelter.
