With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen McCrary (Waterloo, Iowa), born in Cherokee, Iowa, who passed away on November 27, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Murphy and Goldie Murphy (Bloomberg); her husband Bob; her grandson Andrew McCrary; her sister Colleen Ankerstjerne (Baxter); and her sister-in-law Margaret McCombs (Richard).

She is survived by: her children, Greg McCrary (Cathy) of Pensacola, FL, Mike McCrary (Kristi) of Janesville, IA and Amy Swalve (Randy) of Waterloo. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 3 more on the way; 6 nephews; many lifelong friends.
