With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Hermeier of Waterloo, Iowa, born in Waukon, Iowa, who passed away on March 30, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Bechtel and Neva Bechtel (Deal); her brother Dean Bechtel; and her brother-in-law Don Mower. She is survived by: her husband Terry; her son Chad Hermeier; her sister Janet Bechtel (Al Buege); and her siblings-in-law, Sherry Bechtel, Susan Mower and Eugene Hermeier. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
