She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Otto and Florence Sprotte Otto; and her husband Robert Borkowitz. She is survived by: her son Rev Robert Borkowitz Jr. (Karen); her granddaughters, Savannah, Autumn and Alexandra Borkowitz; and her siblings, Jack Otto and Julie Galloway.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Journey Church, 1045 Colby Road, Waterloo, Iowa.
