She was predeceased by: her parents, Joye Platt and Roy Goodrich; her stepfather Delbert Platt; and her brother Larry Goodrich. She is survived by: her husband Jeff Platt; her children, Joshua Boughton and India Simpson; her sister Jami Platt; and her grandsons, Colby Lavergne, Noah Lavergne and Lucas Lavergne.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Major Erickson Funeral Home (111 N Pennsylvania Ave, Mason City, IA 50401).
