It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Petersen (Waterloo, Iowa), born in Waverly, Iowa, who passed away on March 9, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elfrieda Meyne (Oschlager) and Herman H. Meyne; and her siblings, Harold and Mildred Rieman. She is survived by: her daughter Sylvia Gitch of Denver; and her grandchildren, Melissa Nieman (Clay) of Denver and Matthew Gitch of Denver. She is also survived by three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
