He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Bernard and Johanna Anna Pfiffner (Geib); and his siblings, Francis, Herb, Vince, Cletus and Roberta Kriegel.

He is survived by: his wife Vera Reicherts; and his children, Joanne Oberreuter (Leon), Diane Slaughter (Mercian), Becky Pfiffner, Dave Pfiffner (Angie), Mike Pfiffner (Kathy) and Sherry Walker (Roger).
