He is survived by: his wife Connie Austin of Waterloo; and his children, Jeremy Austin (Denise) of Dubuque, Jesse Austin of Waterloo, Joshua Austin (Maggie) of Cedar Falls, Jaime Culpepper (James) of Waterloo, Jace Austin (Ashley Clark) of Reinbeck and Jonni Meier (Justin) of Waterloo. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
