It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon Bernard (Waterloo, Iowa), who passed away on May 12, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert N. Bernard and Blanche Bernard (McCullough); his wife Carol A. Philp; his brothers, Donald Jennings and Peter Bernard; and his niece Julie Graham.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Bernard of Waterloo, Carrie Gray (Chris) of Cedar Rapids, Sarah Thomson (Rick) of St. Augustine, Elizabeth Bernard of Washington, D. C., Amanda Bernard of Waterloo and Matthew Bernard (Melissa) of Omaha; and his sister Kathleen Deloff (George) of Cedar Falls. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
