He was predeceased by: his sister Jessie Lee Sadler; his cousin Naomi Sadler; and his uncle Gary Shock. He is survived by: his parents, Michael Sadler and Mary Sadler (Julie) of Waterloo; his siblings, Chris Sadler of Waterloo, Theresa Sadler of Waterloo, Amanda Sadler of Mason City and Daniel Sadler of Cedar Falls; his nieces, Sage and Luna Sadler; and his daughter Elyssa Cooper of Waterloo.
