He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Kopf (Shrode) and Robert Kopf; and his granddaughter Courtney Jean Spurgeon. He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Jean (Euchner); his stepson John; his sisters, Linda Bjerke (Randy) of Waterloo and Karen Kopf of Waterloo; his children, Jennifer Blohn (Ed) of Des Moines, Charles Kopf (Jennifer) of Denver, Elizabeth Paulson (John) of Cedar Falls, William Kopf (Ashley) of Oceanside, Wayne Kopf (Alyssa) of Des Moines and Rachel Logan (Grant) of Des Moines; and also, Scott, Diane and Mason Peterson. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
