John Friel III Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2024, at the age of 64, John Friel III of Waterloo, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his father John "Jack" Friel Jr.; his brother-in-law Darrell Fremont; and his stepfather Robert Frohn. He is survived by: his mother Marion Frohn (Denner) of Cedar Falls; his son Aaron Friel (Rebecca Fay) of Oakland, California; and his siblings, Ann Fremont of Des Moines and Don Friel of Cedar Falls.
