He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Britt and Rosemary K. Phelan Britt; his siblings, Tommy Britt, Karen Kurtt and Paul Britt; and his nieces and nephews, Emily Carlson, Annaleigh Carlson, Silas Opdahl and Maelyn Opdahl.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Nolting of Waterloo; his daughters, Theresa Britt of Waterloo and Rheajeanne Britt; his grandchildren, Megan Jones (Chase) and Erick Fleener (Jill); his great grandchildren, Lochlan and Elodie Jones; and his sisters, Mary Jane Hursh of Cedar Falls and Rebecca Britt of Waterloo.
