He was predeceased by: his parents, John Richard and Edna Louise Boyd (Edward). He is survived by: his children, Lydia Small (Gary), James Boyd, Matthew Boyd (Rebecca) and John Boyd; and his brother Richard Boyd (Norma) of Wytheville, VA. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church (320 Mulberry St, Waterloo, IA 50703). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
