He is survived by: his sons, Paul Hites (Angie) of Waverly and Mike E. Hites (Tina) of Waterloo; his son-in-law Jason Warkenthien of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Jacob, Brittney Warkenthien, Candace Little, Samantha, Joel and Tucker Hites; and his siblings-in-law, Ken Heronimus of Nebraska and Karen Sagert-Hites of Minneapolis, MN..
