He is survived by: his former wife Mary Rae Spotts; his wife Wanda Stahl of Waterloo; his children, Brian Van Dorn (Carolyn) of Minneapolis, Scott Van Dorn (Wendy Valentine) of Iowa Falls, Sean Van Dorn of Rochester, MN and Heather Schoenberger (Joseph); his stepdaughters, Chantel Boeschen (Reinhard) of Waterloo, Christine Nieman (Timothy) of Waterloo and Stacey Millar (Eric) of Washburn; his grandchildren, Xavier, Kym, Alec, Austin, Tim, Matt, Gage, Chase, Isaac, Hope, Marisa, Allison, Anna, Mandi, Mira and Marley; and his siblings, Rita Trost (Kenny) of Waterloo, Phyllis Hausladen of West Lafayette, IN and Edward "Pete" Van Dorn (Marissa) of Waterloo. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
