He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Niedert and Virginia Smith Niedert; and his siblings, Gary, Kenny and Janice McCoy.
He is survived by: his spouse Cheryl Lynn McCombs; his children, Terrie Miller of Waterloo, Brenda Forstall (Rick) of Granite Bay, Tammy Jo Rambo (Steven) of Waterloo and Tim Niedert (Rachel) of Dysart; his grandchildren, Brandon, Nicholas and Zachary; his great grandchildren, Kendra, Jackson, Alexander, Karis and Lucas; his sisters, Carole Pierson (Mike) of Kingsman, Velma Niedert and Debbie Niedert; and his close friend Bill Quibell (Nita) of Waterloo.
