He is survived by: his wife Sandra Clark August; his children, Jeff (Carmen) of Marion and Lisa DenHartog (Tom) of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Tommy, Mitchell, Amanda and Amber (Mason); his great grandchild Jerry; his siblings, Henry Suhr (Diane) of Las Vegas, Aelvin Suhr (Julie) of Waverly, Melvin Suhr (Holly) of Knoxville, Judy Hoyt (Jim) of Hawkeye, Anna Ungerer (Dale) of Hawkeye, Lois Kocher (Jake) of Hawkeye, Marlene Bradley (Al) of Readlyn and Goldie Platte of Brashear; and his sister-in-law Betty Suhr of Bloomer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
