He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Nichols of Waterloo; his sons, Joseph Nichols (Jessa) of Cedar Falls and Nicholas Nichols (Amber) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Alexis Lea, Crew Lee, Riggs Lee and Brennan Lee; and his siblings, Joe Nichols (Rebecca) of Las Vegas, Julie Foust (Chris) of Waterloo, Jeanette Stacey (Joe) of Clutier and Pam Nichols of Garwin.
