With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Kay Corson (Waterloo, Iowa), born in Cresco, Iowa, who passed away on April 4, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Mintey and Lucille Mintey (Medhaug); her grandson Christopher Rundel; her siblings, Robert, Donald, Gerald Mintey and Dixie Sutton; and her son-in-law Patrick Barfels.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph Louis Corson (Debbie) of Waterloo, Brenda Xayvongsa (Chanthone) of Cedar Falls and Lisa Barfels; her stepchildren, Daryl Corson of Evansdale and Theresa Fosselman of Waterloo; and her sister Betty Derifield of Waterloo. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
