It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Rae Wright (Waterloo, Iowa), who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Ervin Franklin and Dorothy Lucille Howard (Aten); her husband Joe Wright, Sr. of Mark's United Methodist Church; her daughter Leanna Rae Wright; her great grandchild Adalynn Wright; her siblings, Michael Dean Howard and Juanita Ames; and her stepdaughter Tammy Stasko.
She is survived by: her sons, Joe Wright (Penny) of Evansdale and Richard Wright (Laura) of Waterloo; her grandchildren, Sarah Firebaugh, Richard Graham, Darrick Wright (Ashleigh), Michael Wright (Taylor), Cody Wright, Macy Wright (Christian) and Porter Wright; her great grandchildren, Brently Bass, Benson Wright, Stella Wright and Brileigh Wright; her siblings, Richard Howard (Vicky) of Lone Rock, Iowa and Connie Lee Olsson (Bob) of Evansdale; and her sister-in-law Julie Howard.
