She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wagner and Marjorie Weaver Wagner; her husband Donald J. Laures; her brother George "Lauren" Wagner; and her son-in-law Bruce Neuendorf.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Laures of Waterloo, Chad Laures of Virginia and Teresa Neuendorf of Cedar Falls. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
