She was predeceased by: her parents, James R. and Margaret V. Holmes; her spouse Robert F. Walden; her son Richard Walden; and her sister Kitty Bartlett.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Jorgensen (Rick) of Naperville, IL, Kathy Schreiner (Mark) of Waterloo and Michael Walden (Michelle) of Waterloo; her grandchildren, Robert Jorgensen (Megan), Katherine Jorgensen, Daniel Jorgensen, Scott Schreiner (Chelsey), Elizabeth Schreiner, Chelsea Sinnwell (Mitchell), Carissa Herkelman, Cassandra Herkelman and Skye Goetsch; her great grandchildren, Colin Jorgensen, Patrick Jorgensen, Finn Schreiner and Lars Schreiner; her sisters, Bobbie Cross of Birmingham, MI and JoAnn Miller (Otto) of Janesville, IA; and her sister-in-law Anne Walden of Ames.
