He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Walker and Genevieve Walker; his wife Joan; and his brothers-in-law, Dr. Sam Christensen, Eugene Zimmerman and Carl Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Mike Walker (Nancy), Lynn Walker (Frank Mason) and Katherine Brokaw (Kim); his grandchildren, Dr. James Walker (Marcy), Caroline Larson (Chris), Jack Brokaw and Kate Brokaw; his great grandchildren, Beau, Genevieve Walker and Julien Larson; and his sister Jane Christensen.
Memorials may be directed to First Presbyterian Church of Waterloo, the Waterloo Community Foundation, or Cedar Valley Hospice.
