He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Schroeder and Norma Hageman Schroeder; his wife Nadine Grace Buss; and his brother Dennis Schroeder. He is survived by: his children, Beckie Ryan (San Diego), Vicki Schroeder, Pam Lytle (Los Altos), Lori Lux (Kristi Irvin) and Scott (Susie); and his grandchildren, Lexie Ryan, Maggie Ryan, Sarah Betlinski (Alex), Beth Lytle, Drew Lytle, Chad Lux, Matt Lux, Andy Lux, Thomas Lux, Joshua Schroeder, Mackenzie Schroeder, Kalyn Irvin Salhus and Jason Irvin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Waterloo Schools Foundation.
