He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James Day, Darlene Murphy and Richard Ferch. He is survived by: his parents, William Day and Shirley Ferch Day; his daughter Noelle of Des Moines; his sisters, Becky Kruse (Mike) of Dunkerton and Tracy Day of Short Creek; and his grandmother Beldyne Ferch. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and five nieces and nephews.
