He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pete Zarifis and Harriet Rosser Zarifis; his spouse Jean Marie Schoer; his son Jeffrey (Brenda) of Clovis, Calif.; his grandson Jason of Clovis, Calif.; his brother Frank Zarifis (Ann) of Cedar Rapids; his close friends, Werner Meyer and Eddie Halvorson; his son Steven Zarifis; and his brothers, Donald and Alexander. He was also cherished by 11 nephews and nieces.
