He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Rubendall and Luella Langenbau Rubendall; his wife Carole M. Mason; his stepmother Harriett Rubendall; his children, Martin and Kay Rubendall; and his brother Don Rubendall.
He is survived by: his daughter Debra Henderson (Roger) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Lisa McBride (Shawn) of Waterloo, Laura Mulnix (Josh) of Dyersville and David Anderson of Cedar Falls; and his brother Floyd Rubendall (Ann) of Oahu, HI.. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
