He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sandy Cockhren and Narcisse Haslett Cockhren; his wife Margaret Glass of Waterloo; his children, Maryah Grisby (Myran) of Waterloo, Quannah Mohorne of Waterloo, Kia Mohorne of Waterloo, Shawnee Voshell of Waterloo, Will Mohorne of Waterloo and Katrina Dixon of Waterloo; and his siblings, David Cockhren of Cedar Rapids, J. C. Cockhren (Connie) of Cedar Rapids, Willie Mae Boldon (Floyd) of Waterloo, Julia Cockhren of Mundelein, IL, Sadie Mae Hill of Horn Lake, MS., Dorothy Ann Cockhren, Pearlie Mae Cockhren, Martha Ann Cockhren, Katie Cockhren, Walter Cockhren, Charles Cockhren, Sammie Cockhren and Mary Cockhren. He was also cherished by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
