She was predeceased by: her parents, Truels Steffen and Ethel Steffen (Johnson); her son Steven Ott; and her siblings, James Steffen and Judy Evans.
She is survived by: her former husband Joseph Ott; her pet Molly; her great grandchild Landon; and her children, David Ott (Kathy) of Waterloo, Russell Ott of Frederika and Kathy Phillips of Waterloo. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
