She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Hartman and Nellie Hartman (Larrew); her husband Alvin Carrier; and her siblings, Ira Hartman, Jr., Larraine Mott, Louella Troutwine and Evelyn Wedemeier.
She is survived by: her children, Barb Overlie of Waterloo, Nancy Chase (Roger) of Waterloo, Carl Carrier (Paula) of Parkersburg, Carla Schilling (Greg) of Waterloo and Alan Carrier (Becky) of Parkersburg; and her sister Irene Jones of Cedar Falls. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
