She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Derifield and Ila Derifield (Abbott); her husband Alvin Ray Kastli; her son Bryon Kastli; and her siblings, Mike Derifield, Elsie Parks, Della Derifield, Kathy Barnes and Chris Nieman.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Kastli of Missouri, Mike Kastli (Teri) of Waterloo, Brenda Kastli of Keene and Vanessa Drill (Mark) of Nicollet, Minnesota; and her siblings, Jim Derifield (Linda) of Scottsdale, Linda Kastli (Tom) of Cedar Falls, Rosie Robinson (Ron) of Vinton and Judy DiGiovanni of Vinton. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Our Savior's Lutheran Church, in Memory of Alvin and Ila Kastli or the YMCA in Waterloo.
