He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Coffin and Myrtle Coffin (Fairbanks); his former life partner Verna Westemeier; his sons, Dennis and Dean Coffin; and his siblings, Arthur, Richard, Darrell Coffin, Delores Buckman and Marvel Rittgers.
He is survived by : his wife Dianne Pearson; his children, Dan Coffin (Joni) of Longmont, CO, Dave Coffin (Cindy) of Tiffin, IA, Don Coffin (Mary), Doug Coffin (Jan) of Washburn, IA, Debra Truax (Roger) of Albany, OR, Denise Gehrke (Bill) of Evansdale, IA, Darla Baud (Jeff) of Broomfield, CO and Dee McDonald (Mark) of Adel, IA; and his stepsons, Jeff Rausch (Sara) of Davenport, IA and Eric Pearson (Laurie) of Wheaton, IL. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
