She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Pawlis and Bert Pawlis; her siblings, Arno Pawlis, Horst Pawlis and Elinor Kennert; and her husband Jack Larsen.

She is survived by: her sister Ruth Zeiger; and her nieces and nephews, Katja, Rudi, Gaby, Winfried, Thomas, Ulricke, Petra, Bernhard, Gabriele, Hans, Hans-Peter and Martina.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Hildegard's name to either the Cedar Valley Hospice Home or Friendship Village.
