She was predeceased by: her son Thomas William Lippold. She is survived by: her parents, Carl Gerhardt Ericksen and Mabel Sophia Gottschalk; her spouse Donald L. Lippold; her children, Kathryn Smith (Dan) of Australia, Cynthia Lippold-Owen (Michael) of Iowa City and Erik Lippold of Riverside; and her close friends, Michele Lathrop and Steve Lathrop. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
