We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2020, at the age of 79, Harry Nix (Waterloo, Iowa), born in Tchula, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry and Mamie Nix, Sr. (Wade); his children, Harry Nix, Jr., Robert Proctor, Mary S. Nix-Theroith, Evelina Nix and Gina Proctor; his sisters, Juanita Henderson and Rosie Sims; his granddaughter Lashawn Nix; and his close friend Victoria of Washington.
He is survived by: his children, Alvin Nix, Sr. (Shelly) of Leesburg, VA, Donald Nix (Teresa) of Waterloo, Tim Nix (Kim) of Waterloo, Marlon Nix of Waterloo, Kim Baker (William) of Waterloo, Jeanette Nix of Waterloo and Amanda Jefferson (Tim) of Greenwood, MS. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
