She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Jacobson and Mildred Jacobson (Hardcastle); and her children, Thomas Wharton and Pamela Johnson. She is survived by: her spouse Roscoe Wharton; and her children, Jim Wharton (Stina) of Cedar Falls, John Wharton (Mary) of Gold Canyon and Penny Smith (Donald) of Gold Canyon. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
