He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Weihe and Emma Weihe (Geistfeld); his wife Dorothy Holmes; his daughter Kathy Weihe; his siblings, Romaine "John" Weihe, LaVern "Billy" Weihe, Margaret Weihe and Alice Weihe; and his son-in-law Ronald Stephens.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Frost (Eugene) of Raymond, Mary Stephens of Dunkerton, Iowa and Dewayne Schmidt (Monica) of Rapid City; his grandchildren, Jeff Frost (Amy), Becky Frost, Sheri Purdy (Troy), Jenny Schmidt, Jade Sanchez (Mike), Jennifer Clark and Ryan Stephens; and his friend Colleen Clark. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Black Hawk County Veterans Affairs or the Cedar Bend Humane Society.
